Hi I am organising a trip for 6 ladies over 65 and would like some advice as to what is the best route you can suggest for us. I thought we could come to anchorage from Vancouver via the ferries then add the Denali national park. We did want to try and see the northern lights do we need to go to Fairbanks for that? We will not have a vehicle. If there are nay there highlights you could suggest? I appreciate your time. Kind Regards, Claire
You didn’t mention when you wanted to go. It’s hard to see the Northern Lights in the summer. I did ONCE in 25 years in Kenai. Denali via train, Kenai Fjords via boat, and Anchorage walking around would be my top three if you’re short on time and want to see a lot.
