Bald eagles, moose, and many birds at Potter Marsh are on the agenda. Then we head off to Hatcher Pass in the Matanuska Valley for some wonderful landscape photography. At the pass we'll hunt for marmot, pika, and Dall sheep while enjoying the incredible beauty of the alpine tundra above treeline at 3,000 feet in the Talkeetna Mountains. A close-up lens will come in handy for lots of wildflowers. We'll overnight at the Hatcher Pass Lodge.

Potter Marsh for birds, beavers, and muskrats, the Portage Valley for 7 glaciers and a cruise to the face of Portage Glacier, Turnagain Arm for beluga whales and then finally a walk to the face of Exit Glacier in Seward. We'll overnight at the Seward Windsong Lodge.

Hoary Marmot

Day 3 - We'll spend the day on a 9-hour cruise into Kenai Fjords National Park. Orcas, humpback whales, puffins, cormorants, and lots of glaciers. We'll overnight at the Seward Windsong Lodge.
